Our cabinets have been finished with a catalyzed lacquer coating. This is one of the most durable finishes available which provides a long lasting protection against damage and average wear and tear.
To Clean: Wipe down cabinet surfaces with a damp soft cloth using a mild solution of vinegar & water OR a mild dish soap & water. Regular cleaning will help in maintaining the appearance of your cabinets. Always wipe up spills promptly with a clean, soft cloth and be sure to wipe the surface dry after every cleaning.
Cleaners to avoid:
· Cream cleaners
· Harsh & abrasive cleaners
· Solvent-based cleaner
· Bleach
· Waxes
· Pledge
Laminate Countertop Care
To Clean: In most cases, you only need to use a clean, damp, nonabrasive soft cloth with a mild solution of vinegar & water OR a mild dish soap & water. Rinse with clean water using a clean, nonabrasive cotton cloth. Do not flood the laminate, especially near seams, because water can penetrate and cause the substrate to swell. Dry the surface with a soft, clean, nonabrasive cotton cloth. For hard-to-clean areas, use a nylon-bristled hand brush or vegetable brush, along with a mild liquid detergent and water solution. Clean the area using a rotating motion. Rinse and dry the surface as indicated above.
Cleaners to avoid:
· Drain cleaners
· Lime scale removers
· Solvent-based cleaner
· Bleach
· Tub & tile cleaners
· Some countertops cleaners
Granite Care
Granite is a natural stone and in order to protect the surface against staining it must be sealed every year. Sealer kits can be purchased anywhere and it is very easy to apply yourself.
A few simple steps to keep your granite looking stain free forever:
1. Clean up spills as soon as possible
2. Surfaces can be cleaner using mild dishwashing liquid and warm water
3. Consider using disinfectant cleaner made specifically for granite
4. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar, or other aids. Strong detergents or corrosive liquids can dull the polished stone.
